He just decommitted from Cal-Berkeley due to the PAC-12 turmoil and while I'm not thrilled at picking at the carcass of PAC-12 teams with everything that's going on, if we don't try for him he's still going to go somewhere other than PAC-12.

We REALLY need veteran depth at the 2 and the 3 right now. This guy would provide that. He'd be on the shorter side at the 3 @ 6'2", but that's still workable, and it's better than just hoping Adams or Yeo are going to be ready to provide backup at the 3 this year with no-one else available (unless they want to start trying to play Gregg or Watson at the 3).

He's been at EWU and Portland so should be a good fit for us. Actually scored 19 points against us when playing with Portland.

He hurt his back during his Junior year which carried partway through his Senior year (last year) as well.

It's getting close to the beginning of the school year and I doubt if we're going to find any other guards in the portal that will suit our needs better than this, this late in the game. Based on the minutes he's had due to his injury in the last couple of years I'm thinking he'd be ok playing a backup role at GU, which is the only role we can give someone right now.
