Gonzaga climbs back into top 10 in latest AP Poll

Not much else changed.

NCAA Basketball: St. Mary’s at Gonzaga James Snook-USA TODAY Sports

The Gonzaga Bulldogs are officially a top 10 team once again, rising two spots in the latest AP Poll following their WCC co-Championship-clinching win over Saint Mary’s on Saturday.

Considering that Houston, Alabama, Kansas, UCLA, and Purdue all won their games last week, the top five did not change at all from the previous week. Oh wait a second. What is that you say? Purdue lost? At home? And wait, are you saying that was their fourth loss in six games? Well that doesn’t seem very top five of them....

Elsewhere around the poll, Virginia were the big losers, dropping seven spots down to No. 13 following back to back losses against Boston College and North Carolina. The big winners are also good for the Gonzaga resume as the Kentucky Wildcats finally cracked the top 25 again, landing at No. 23.

Here is the full AP Poll for Week 16.
