This shouldn’t come as much of a surprise. Gonzaga played in the PK80, which took place simultaneously at the Moda Center and the Memorial Coliseum. Like its predecessor, the PK85 will feature two tournaments featuring eight teams each.
As expected, the PK85 is a who’s-who of college basketball greats, so Gonzaga should be coming away, most likely, with three very quality games. At this time, no matchup or dates have been announced (possibly safe to assume this happens over Thanksgiving weekend), however, teams will not play within their conferences.
Gonzaga’s PK80 run featured an all-time non-conference game against the Florida Gators, which ultimately ended in a double-overtime loss for the Zags. Considering the wealth of talent in the schools listed above, we might be in for yet another treat.
