The first day of the NCAA Tournament seemed like it was determined to make up for missing last year.
It all started off on the right foot with the first game of the day going to overtime, where Florida barely bested Virginia Tech. The Rick Barnes March futility tour continued, with No. 5 Tennessee losing to No. 12 Oregon State. It was the Beavers first tournament win since 1982. The biggest upset of the day probably came from No. 15 Oral Roberts, who began the storied tradition of busting brackets by taking down the No. 2 Ohio State Buckeyes.
This is March.
