After multiple tries this season, the Gonzaga Bulldogs finally get to face off against the Santa Clara Broncos on Thursday.

The Zags are chasing records (of course). A win over Santa Clara would not only extend the nation’s longest active home winning streak 1t 50 games, but would also tie the program record. A win would leave the Zags two shy of the program record for 29-straight.

The Broncos looked a bit rough around the edges coming back from their January/February pause, but picked up a big win over the Pepperdine Waves on Saturday. The Broncos picked up an upset over the Saint Mary’s Gaels to open WCC play. With a pretty decent defense, the Broncos have a legitimate chance at giving the Zags a run.

Chances are, like everyone else this season, Santa Clara is going to fall short, and the Zags are going to be one game away from an undefeated regular season.
