The Zags are seeking their 20th-consecutive win, dating back to last season, as they head on the road to take on the San Diego Toreros.
Gonzaga has won 12-straight against USD, 23 of the last 24, and 45 of the last 48 contests. San Diego last won on 2014, 69-66. Kevin Pangos scored just four points in that game.
After a couple of wobbly contests, the Zags looked rather tidy against Pacific, winning 95-49. That game came after trailing at Saint mary’s for 13:24, and against Pepperdine for 34 seconds. So far, the Zags have only trailed at three different times in conference play this season.
San Diego earned its second win of the season, defeating Portland, 78-70 on Saturday. The Toreros have been hit hard by the COVID bug this year, and have only played eight games so far.
