Jalen Suggs has been named as one of 10 players to the Bob Cousy Award Watch List. The annual award goes out to the top point guard in college.

Suggs is the highest-ranked recruit to ever wear a Gonzaga Bulldogs’ uniform, and it has showed through his play on the court. The freshman guard is averaging 13.9 points, 5.2 rebounds, 4.9 assists, and 2.3 steals per game.

His intensity, physicality, and athleticism have catapulted him up many NBA Draft Boards, placing him in firm lottery status and sometimes a No. 1 overall pick.

Of course, being the Bob Cousy Award, there are a lot of great players on this list, so it is far from a lock for Suggs to earn the honors. Players can also play their way on and off the list throughout the season. But for now, consider Suggs one of the 10 best collegiate point guards.

Here is the full list:

  • Jared Butler, Baylor
  • McKinley Wright IV, Colorado
  • Marcus Zegarowski, Creighton
  • Scottie Barnes, Florida State
  • Jalen Suggs, Gonzaga
  • Ayo Dosunmu, Illinois
  • Carlik Jones, Louisville
  • Marcus Carr, Minnesota
  • Cade Cunningham, Oklahoma State
  • Collin Gillespie, Villanova
