The Gonzaga Bulldogs moved up one spot to No. 20 in the latest AP Poll.

The Zags are rolling off of two defensive gems, defeating the Pacific Tigers, 79-59, and the Portland Pilots, 75-43. Jenn Wirth, in particular, has been on a tear. She scored a new career-high of 26 points against Pacific (off 11-of-14 shooting and in 28 minutes), and has logged a double-double in eight of her 10 last games.

The Zags began the season ranked No. 21, and after a couple of tough early non-conference losses, have finally pushed past that mark. After a rather close opening of WCC play against LMU, Gonzaga has defeated its past four WCC foes by an average of 25 points.

There is a good chance that dominance will continue this week. Gonzaga faces off against San Francisco and Santa Clara, who are both 5-13 on the year.

Here is the full AP Poll for the week.
