The Gonzaga Bulldogs are still the No. 1 team in the nation according to the latest AP Poll.
There was no movement in teams No. 1-6. Michigan jumped up to No. 7 after a win over Minnesota. The Clemson Tigers were the big winners of the week, rising seven spots to No. 12 after winning in overtime against NC State.
The Zags are still missing out on one top vote and it will probably stick that way for quite sometime. The Baylor Bears crushed both Oklahoma and TCU, rather easily, last week. The good will cannot continue this week for Baylor. Tomorrow’s game against West Virginia has been cancelled due to COVID protocols within West Virginia’s program.
Gonzaga, as it stands now, has two games up this week against Pepperdine at home and Saint Mary’s on the road. Pepperdines’ program has been on pause since late December due to COVID protocols.
