The 2021 center out of Crater High School in Central Point, Oregon, is ranked as the No. 9 prospect in the nation, the second-best center, and the top prospect in Oregon by 247 Sports.
Bittle is the third top-ten ranked prospect in the Class of 2021 to have Gonzaga in their list, including No. 2-ranked Chet Holmgren, and No. 3 ranked Paolo Banchero. Bittle took an official visit to Gonzaga back on Jan. 24.
The crystal ball has all signs pointing to Oregon, which makes sense. Bittle expressed a desire to stay close to home so his family can see the games, hence all of the west coast schools, in a recent interview with Prospective Insight. Central Point, which is just outside of Medford, Oregon, is just a short 2.5 hour drive to Eugene.
The Zags have one hard-commit for the 2021 class, four-star center Kaden Perry from Battle Ground, Washington.
