The Eagles finished the season last year with an 18-13 record, but went 13-3 in the MEAC, taking the conference regular season championship before the season ended prematurely due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Eagles will provide a good initial test for the Zags, as they return a good chunk of their roster from last year.
The Zags now have games against USC, Tennesse, Texas Tech, Texas, Arizona, Washington, and the Orlando Invitational (featuring Auburn, Belmont, Boise State, Michigan State, Saint Louis, Siena, and Xavier) on the schedule.
As of now, the meat of the schedule is made. At some point, I’ll try and track down all of the dates, but we can expect a couple of more scheduled gimme games to fill out the non-conference slate.
Of course, all of this is presuming that a season will be able to take place.
