Another good game for the non-conference slate.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs are reportedly playing the USC Trojans on Nov. 17 in Portland, Oregon, as part of the Phil Knight Invitational. BYU and Oregon will be the other game on the docket.

Interestingly enough, incoming recruit Dominick Harris already spilled the beans about the game. Considering how many schools are constricting their travelling during the non-conference schedule because of COVID-19, it makes complete sense that the Zags would put another high profile game within a short distance of Spokane.

USC will be an interesting opponent next season. They lost four seniors from last season’s squad. Oneyka Okwongu declared for the NBA Draft. Back in late March, they had just five scholarship players on the roster.

Santa Clara grad transfer Tahj Eady joined USC for his final season, and the Trojans are welcoming five star center Evan Mobley, the top-ranked recruit in the class of 2020.

Either way, for the Zags, it is another quality opponent to round out the non-conference slate.
