Five-star 2021 forward Paolo Banchero has announced the six schools he will choose from today: Gonzaga, Washington, Kentucky, Duke, Arizona, and Tennessee.

Banchero, who plays at Seattle’s O’Dea High School, is the top ranked power forward in the nation and the fourth-best prospect overall, according to 247 Sports.
His final six list is not much of a surprise for all of the schools involved. Banchero has taken official visits to each one except for Arizona. He took his official visit to Gonzaga back in January.
Banchero is expected to be a one-and-done prospect, and all signs have been pointing to the backyard of the Washington Huskies for awhile now. Gonzaga has been hanging in there. It is rather easy to make a case for staying near home for one year and choosing the Zags over UW, solely off of recent track record.
Gonzaga has one hard commit for the 2021 recruiting class, four-star center Kaden Perry out of Battle Ground, Washington.
