Gonzaga Bulldogs forward Killian Tillie is one of 10 players on the Karl Malone Award late season list. The award goes out to the best power forward in all of college hoops.
Tillie joins fellow Zag Corey Kispert in the late season accolades. Yesterday, Kispert was listed on the Julius Erving Award list.
Tillie is averaging 12.6 points and five rebounds per game in his senior season. His inclusion on the list shows how respected Tillie is in the college game. He has missed seven games due to injury this season, and is only averaging 23.8 minutes per game, the lowest amount out of all the Gonzaga starters.
His impact on the floor, both on the offensive and defensive ends, is evident for anyone who watches the Zags consistently. Tillie leads the team in overall box plus/minus, is first in offensive box plus/minus, and third in defensive box plus/minus.
The Karl Malone Award late season list is a mid major dream, featuring Yoeli Childs, among other players. Here are the 10 players on the list.
