The Gonzaga Bulldogs face off against the Loyola Marymount Lions on Thursday evening in the last game before the real end of the schedule begins.
Gonzaga is coming off of one of their harder games of conference play, a tight contest against the San Francisco Dons on the road. LMU, at 2-7 in WCC play, is not having the easiest time, and the last time the two teams met, Gonzaga won by 25 points.
Killian Tillie will most likely be absent from this game, meaning Gonzaga will once again be playing with a shorter than desired rotation. Considering that after LMU, three of Gonzaga’s final six games consist of either BYU or Saint Mary’s, you’d imagine it would be nice to get a bit of momentum going.
Gonzaga has won 22-straight against LMU and 26 of the last 27. The Lions last won way back in 2010.
