The regular season for the Gonzaga Bulldogs concludes today against the Saint Mary’s Gaels. The Zags, who clinched the regular season WCC title on Thursday, will say good-bye (at least in Spokane until the NCAA Tournament) to seniors Killian Tillie, Ryan Woolridge, and Admon Gilder.

Killian Tillie is a well-known commodity throughout Spokane. Woolridge and Gilder are two graduate transfers whose impact is impossible to measure this season. Without the two, the Zags don’t have a backcourt. With the two, the Zags have lost only two games and are looking at yet another No. 1 seed in the NCAA Tournament.

Last season, the Zags spoiled Saint Mary’s final home game of the season. Perhaps the Gaels are looking to do the same this time around? You only have to look back to 2018 to see the last time Saint Mary’s has won at Spokane.
