The West Coast Conference scheduling is always a bit wonky it seems. For Gonzaga, often times, the cream of the WCC crop is at the end of the season. Honestly, it is perfectly fine that way.
The Zags will close out the season with three out of four games at home, beginning tonight against the San Francisco Dons.
If you’ll remember last time around, or maybe you have blocked that out of your memory, the Zags needed everything and a bit more to narrowly push past USF on the road, 83-79, to start February. Of course, in that game, the Zags did not have Killian Tillie. This time around, it is a bit different, so theoretically, the score should be a bit different as well.
San Fran has the highest and the players to make it a close game though. We all wanted a better WCC, and this is what we get: closer games. So pour a cup of afternoon coffee for this one, cause we got a late start.
