The Gonzaga Bulldogs head off to the War Memorial Gymnasium, a place of recent success, for an afternoon matinee of basketball against the San Francisco Dons.

It is important to highlight the recent success Gonzaga has, because for a while, San Francisco was where dreams went to die. In the past 10 years, Gonzaga is 7-3 in the War Memorial Gym, currently riding a seven-game winning streak. If you have done the math correctly, that means prior to the current streak, Gonzaga lost their three-straight years.

USF statistically is one of the better WCC teams. They are ranked as a KenPom top 100 squad. At the same time, Gonzaga might be even more short-handed than they already are. Anton Watson is done for the year, and the depth took a blow on Thursday as Killian Tillie suffered an ankle sprain and had to leave the game. Although the sprain is not as bad as it intially seemed, there is a good chance he will miss today’s game.
