The Gonzaga women cruised to an 89-50 victory over Wyoming on Tuesday night in Laramie to improve to 2-2 on the season. A whopping 12 different players scored for the Zags, who were in control the whole way.

Jenn and LeeAnne Wirth put on a show in the first half, combining for 20 points, 10 rebounds and three blocks. They helped the Zags take a 42-30 lead into the break.

Gonzaga would never cool off. They shot 55 percent from the field, including 12-of-20 from deep. They absolutely dominated the glass to the tune of a 44-19 margin. Jenn Wirth finished with a double-double (16 points, 10 rebounds) while LeeAnne tallied 10 points, five rebounds, and three blocks. Cierra Walker went 4-for-4 from deep and is now 10-for-22 (45%) on the season. Abby O’Connor, in her second game since receiving eligibility, went 3-for-4 from beyond the arc.

14 players played multiple minutes for the Zags with, remarkably, 12 of them playing 10+ minutes. Freshman Yvonne Ejim set career-highs with six points and seven rebounds. Fellow freshman Lily Scanlon tied a career-high with seven points.

It was a great bounce back performance following their last second overtime loss to South Dakota State 48 hours prior. They finally return back to Spokane to play their first home game this coming Sunday against Montana.
