The Gonzaga Bulldogs will be one of the four teams playing in the Bad Boy Mowers Crossover Classic, Nov. 28-20. The round-robin tournament will begin the season, and will feature three stellar teams.
After arguably one of their best seasons in school history, the Zags are ready to build on the previous year behind seniors Jill Townsend, LeeAnne Wirth, and Jenn Wirth. They will begin their season with one of the toughest opponents the Zags have ver faced: the South Carolina Gamecocks.
South Carolina finished last season 32-1 and ranked No. 1 overall. They are the presumed preseason No. 1 team for this season. They will be the highest ranked team the Zags have faced since narrowly losing to the Stanford Cardinal last season.
The rest of the field includes South Dakota, who finished last season 30-2, and Oklahoma, who finished the season 12-18.
All of the games will be broadcast on Flo Hoops.
