The Gonzaga Bulldogs take on the Santa Clara Broncos on Thursday, the first game in a three game homestand. BYU plays on Saturday and the Zags get Pacific next Saturday.

Gonzaga and Santa Clara, like many other Gonzaga WCC contests, has heavily favored the Zags as of late. Gonzaga has won 42 of the last 44 meetings between the two teams. Santa Clara’s last win was at home in 2011.

However, if there were ever a year to pull the upset, this would be it. Santa Clara pulled off the huge upset over Saint Mary’s on Saturday. The Broncos are one of the few teams who can slightly matchup with the Zags in terms of size.

All Santa Clara can hop for is a better showing than the last time around, in which they managed a paltry 39 points in a loss.
