After what seemed like a much too long, college basketball is back upon us with the first day of the Sweet 16, highlighted, of course, by our Gonzaga Bulldogs.
Although many more of the big name squads, such as North Carolina, Duke, and Kentucky, play tomorrow, today we have the advantage of watching the one “misplaced” seeded team in No. 12 Oregon continue its run against No. 1 Virginia.
Also of interest for Gonzaga fans, the battle between No. 2 Michigan and No. 3 Texas Tech. Presuming Gonzaga wins today, the Zags would face the winner of that that game.
The biggest game of the docket happens to be the first game of the day. The No. 1 Gonzaga Bulldogs and the No. 4 Florida State Seminoles will face off again for the second year in a row in the Sweet 16.
We’ve covered the matchups as much as possible, but if you’d like a preview of FSU, a film breakdown of the Seminoles, and a Q&A with a Seminoles blog, we have you covered.
As always, all of the games can be streamed online on NCAA’s March Madness Live.
