The Gonzaga Bulldogs face the San Diego Toreros for the first time this season on Saturday, in Spokane.

The Zags are coming off one of their strongest conference games of the season, which is saying quite a bit considering the Santa Clara demolitions. The Zags headed to Provo and absolutely silenced the BYU fans in a 30 point decisive win.

Although the Zags have won 19 of the last 20 against San Diego, recently, that has come with a bit of dramatics. Last season, both San Diego games were closer than the average WCC contest. The Toreros have battled injuries this year, but they still hold one of the better defenses in the conference. The way the Zags are rolling at the moment, however, that probably won’t matter much.
