Update: The record is broken. Go Brock!!!

Kittitas guard Brock Ravet and member of the 2019 Gonzaga Bulldogs’ recruiting class is poised to break the Washington state scoring record tonight.

The 2019 class has some big names, led by Anton Watson and Drew Timme. In fact, Ravet committed so long ago, sometimes it is easy to forget the combo-guard will be in Spokane next year.

He will arrive as one of the most prolific scorers the Zags have ever seen. Ravet has helped lead Kittitas High School to two consecutive 2B Washington State Championships. After his latest massive outburst of 37 points, Ravet sits just 17 points behind the state of Washington’s all-time scoring record of 2,851 set by Lance Den Boer of Sunnyside Christian High School in 2003.

The playoffs haven’t even started for high school basketball yet, which means Ravet has plenty of time to pile on the record. When Ravet shows up on Gonzaga’s campus next season, he will join a backcourt which is losing seniors Josh Perkins and Geno Crandall.
