The Gonzaga Bulldogs face the Texas Southern Tigers for the third-straight season on Wednesday evening.

For the Zags, it is an opportunity to piece together a bit of what went wrong against the Michigan Wolverines at the Battle 4 Atlantis. After tonight’s game, the Zags will go on the road against the Washington Huskies and Arizona Cardinals Wildcats and will host the North Carolina Tar Heels at home—by far the hardest stretch of games in the entire season.

The Tigers are doing their standard non-conference slate away from home. After defeating Lamar at home on Saturday, Texas Southern will play five of their remaining six non-conference games on the road, including at Oregon, Nevada, and Arizona State.

This is the third-straight meeting between the two teams and the fifth overall. Last season, the Zags won, 104-67, behind Josh Perkins’ and Brandon Clarke’s 19 points. Filip Petrusev scored 14 points and Corey Kispert scored 11.
