Gonzaga Women Crash the Top 25 Party

This is what a good loss looks like.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs women’s basketball team crashed the top 25 for the first time this season, rising to No. 23 after narrowly losing to the Stanford Cardinal on Sunday, Nov. 17.

The Zags fell in overtime on the road to the No. 3 team in the country, and that showing was more than enough for the voters to rewards the Zags with inclusion into the top 25. If there was ever a such thing as a “good loss,” Sunday would be it.

The Zags are currently 2-1 on the season, and are the only WCC team receiving votes.
