Shortly before Gonzaga tipped off their exhibition game with Lewis-Clark State, it was announced that freshman guard Brock Ravet will be taking a leave of absence from the program due to personal reasons.

"We're 100 percent supportive of Brock's decision and we want the best for him," Coach Mark Few said. "We're doing everything we can to support him."
Speculation is never a good thing in these situations. We all just want Ravet to deal with his absence in the best way possible and we all hope he comes back stronger than ever.
The all-time scoring leader in the state of Washington was likely to see some minutes at the point guard spot in the non-conference. Without him, Joel Ayayi and Admon Gilder will now fill in at the point when Ryan Woolridge is on the bench.
Gonzaga is down to just nine healthy scholarship players to begin the season as they await the return of Killian Tillie. Oumar Ballo is also out with an academic redshirt. Walk-on Matthew Lang will also miss the scrimmage after injuring his ankle at Kraziness in the Kennel.
