The Gonzaga Bulldogs season gets partially underway with a exhibition matchup against the Lewis-Clark State Warriors.
Gonzaga has won their past 10 exhibition games by over 30 points. The D-II Warriors are a solid squad on their level, but they won’t have any way to matchup with the No. 8 ranked Zags.
However, considering Gonzaga lost so much of its production from last season after the departures of Zach Norvell, Josh Perkins, Geno Crandall, Brandon Clarke, Rui Hachimura, and Jeremy Jones, this exhibition is definitely worth tuning up for. It’ll be the first opportunity to see the much-hyped class of 2019, featuring the likes of Anton Watson, Drew Timme, Martynas Arlauskas, Brock Ravet, and Pavel Zakharov (Oumar Ballo—we will see you later)
That is even counting in the additions of transfers Admon Gilder and Ryan Woolridge. This is a highly-praised Gonzaga squad, and now it is time to put that praise to the test.
