Gonzaga Bulldogs senior forward Killian Tillie will miss Friday’s exhibition game against Lewis-Clark State as he recovers from his knee injury, Jon Rothstein reported on Thursday.
Gonzaga's Killian Tillie (knee) is questionable for next Tuesday's opener against Alabama State, per Mark Few. Will not play in the team's exhibition on Friday.

Tillie underwent a minor surgery to “clean up” his knee in early October. The procedure wasn’t considered to invasive, and Mark Few and the coaching staff did not expect him to be out for a serious period of time.
The Zags open the 2019-20 year as the No. 8 team, and a lot of that hype comes with a presumably healthy Tillie. The talented forward missed most of his junior season, averaging just 6.2 points in 16.6 minutes per game.
When he is able to stay on the court, however, Tillie is one of the most dangerous big men in all of college hoops. He has an unique ability to stretch the floor, hitting a career 47 percent from three point range.
With a Gonzaga frontcourt full of a lot of fresh and new faces, Tillie is expected to demonstrate that bit of veteran leadership. Looks like we might have to wait a couple of games before we see it.
