24 hours after the Gonzaga women received seven first place votes in the pre-season coaches poll, the Gonzaga men followed suit. The Bulldogs received seven first place votes and were selected to finish first in the West Coast Conference in 2020. Saint Mary’s received the other three first place votes.

It’s a familiar scene atop the standings, with BYU in the third spot, despite plenty of hype for Pepperdine coming into the season. The Waves and Broncos come in at fourth and fifth followed by USF and LMU. Pacific and San Diego tied for eighth and Portland was picked last.
Killian Tillie is the lone Zag on the pre-season All-WCC team. BYU, Saint Mary’s, and Pepperdine all got two players selected. All freshmen and transfers are not eligible for the pre-season All-WCC roster.

Gonzaga kicks off their season with Kraziness in the Kennel this Saturday and a scrimmage against Michigan State on October 19 in Denver.
