The Gonzaga Bulldogs face a tough road environment in Provo where they will face the BYU Cougars on Thursday.
Gonzaga owns a 14-6 series advantage, and has won the last five of seven in Utah, but that doesn’t mean this won’t be a difficult contest. The Marriott Center fits nearly 20,000 fans, and it will be one of the most hostile road environments the Zags will face for the rest of the season (sorry Saint Mary’s, y’all don’t quite cut it compared to BYU).
Luckily, the Zags have been absolutely rolling as of late. They are riding a 10-game winning streak. Through the first six games of conference play, the Zags are outscoring opponents by 31.2 points per game.
A win on tonight will be extra sweet because it will be the Zags 20th win of the season, and would officially mark the 22nd-straight season with at least 20 wins—the third longest active mark in the nation behind Kansas and Duke.
