Gonzaga Ranks as the Third Toughest Home Court Team in College Basketball

According to Daniel Wilco of NCAA.com, Gonzaga holds the rank of the third toughest place to play for any visiting team in the country. Part of that has to do with the talent Mark Few puts on the court year in and year out but I’m gonna to give a lot of the credit to the loud and raucous Gonzaga fans that always pack the gym. Here is the complete list of college basketball teams that always have a rowdy turn-up on their home court:

10. South Dakota State - Frost Arena

9. Arizona - McKale Center (need to set up another home-and-home series)

8. Xavier - Cintas Center

7. Wisconsin - Kohl Center

6. BYU - Marriott Center (gotta love that... WCC!!)

5. Kentucky - Rupp Arena

4. Michigan State - Breslin Center

3. Gonzaga - McCarthey Athletic Center

2. Duke - Cameron Indoor Stadium

1. Kansas - Allen Fieldhouse

The Bulldogs have been dominating on their own court in the 21st century with an unbelievable home-record of 247 wins compared to 20 losses (92.51 winning percentage). I’m sure we will see this type of winning continue in the upcoming season as the Bulldogs welcome Idaho State (Nov. 6), Texas A&M (Nov. 15), North Dakota State (Nov. 26), Washington (Dec. 5), Texas Arlington (Dec. 18), Denver (Dec. 21), North Alabama (Dec. 28), Cal State Bakersfield (De. 31), Santa Clara (Jan. 5), Pacific (Jan. 10), LMU (Jan. 17), San Diego (Feb. 2), San Francisco (Feb. 7), Saint Mary’s (Feb. 9), Pepperdine (Feb. 21), and BYU (Feb. 23) to The Kennel.
