The Las Vegas NBA Summer League will take place in both the Thomas and Mack Center and the Cox Pavilion from July 6-17. This year, Vegas will welcome four bulldogs as they try to prove their worth against the top players from the 2018 NBA Draft.

Zach Collins, the 10th pick of the 2017 Draft by the Portland Trailblazers, will be competing in his second straight NBA Summer League. Joining Collins on the Blazers will be the hometown kid, Kyle Wiltjer, who comes from Jesuit High School in Oregon.
Wiltjer last played for Olympiacos Piraeus of the Greek Basketball League and the EuroLeague. He averaged only 9.5 minutes per contest with Olympiacos while averaging 5.4 points per game.

Two other Zags, Johnathan Williams and Jordan Matthews, will be joining the two NBA squads from La La Land. Williams, after having numerous workouts with NBA teams before the 2018 Draft, went undrafted and will be joining the Lakers summer league squad. Matthews last played for the Erie BayHawks, who are the NBA G-League affiliate of the Atlanta Hawks, and will be playing for the LA Clippers team in the summer league.
Matthews will play his first game on Friday, July 6th on ESPN At 11:30 PM ET against the Golden State Warriors while Williams plays the next day on ESPN at 11:30 PM ET against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Both Collins and Wiltjer will make their 2018 summer league debut with the Trailblazers on Saturday, July 7th on NBA TV at 3 PM ET against the Utah Jazz.
