The Gonzaga Bulldogs are still hot on the trail of four-star point guard Brandon Williams, who decommitted from Arizona in March 2.

Williams, who is ranked as the No. 31 prospect in the country, has only taken visits with Pac 12 schools so far. He has also maintained that Arizona is still high in the running. Williams decommitted after the ESPN report on Sean Miller was released, but that report hasn’t held up as well as ESPN would have liked recently.

Williams has also received visits from Arizona, Colorado, Oregon, and Arizona State. Right now, according to the 247 Sports is split about 23 to Arizona and 13 to Oregon. The Zags will have their work cut out for them.

Daniels has a lot to work with, however. The Zags are coming off their fourth-straight Sweet 16 appearance. Assuming Gonzaga has one more year at point guard, if Williams were to arrive, he would be completely in the drivers seat by his sophomore year.

It is a tough uphill climb, however. Arizona is Arizona, and Oregon has turned into a recruiting monster as of late.
