College basketball rankings: Another rumble at the top and Gonzaga is No. 15

The Zags moved up four spots after another week of measurable movement.

For the second-straight week, there was an earthquake in the top 10 of the AP poll, and we have virtually a brand new top three teams in the nation.

Michigan State dropped to No. 4 after losing to Ohio State last week. In its place, Villanova rose to the top spot, followed by West Virginia at No. 2, and Virginia at No. 3. Duke dropped down to No. 7 after losing to N.C. State. Arizona State (previously at No. 4) dropped out of the top 10 altogether.

All of this drama up high reverberated down low as well. The Zags found the room to rise four spots, moving up to No. 15 after wins over Pacific and Loyola Marymount. They were aided by losses from Arizona and Miami.

The Zags are still pretty largely all over the place, with a couple voters ranking them as high as No. 10, and a one confused soul ranking them as No. 24.

Here is the full poll for week 10.
