The Zags have been hard on Harris’ case for quite some time, with multiple visits from most of the coaching staff, including Donny Daniels. Harris is averaging nearly 25 points per game for Pacifica Christian High School out of Orange County, California.
According to 247 Sports, “The sophomore has good size, long arms, is a plus athlete and can play on and off the ball due to his physical tools, handle, shooting ability and vision.”
Harris ranked No. 52 in the class of 2020 according to 247 Sports, but it is important to note that classes that far out tend to have quite a bit of movement, especially as players advance in high school careers and hit the AAU circuits.
The Zags struck early on Harris. He also had offers from Georgetown, but many of the other bigger schools such as Stanford, UCLA, Cal, Maryland and USC dragged their feet.
