The 2017 NBA Draft Combine started yesterday, and Gonzaga’s Nigel Williams-Goss is already one of the names popping up in a good way.
Williams-Goss had the fastest lane agility time in the combine yesterday. In other words, if you are a NBA GM and you are potentially worried about his ankles, you probably don’t need to be worried much anymore.
Williams-Goss also placed middle of the pack in the shuttle run, and finished in the top 10 in the three-quarters sprint.
Not a bad first day for a guy that needs to turn some heads to rise up the board. The Combine provides that avenue for Williams-Goss.
Zach Collins did not participate in the agility drills, and just decided to be measured for the day’s events. Collins is one of three players to measure at least 7’0 tall with shoes, and he had the fifth highest standing reach at 9’3.
The NBA Draft Combine continues until Sunday and can be viewed online at WatchESPN.com.
