- The women’s basketball team secured its bid to the NCAA Tournament just hours before the men, led by a career high 37 points for sophomore Jill Barta. She was joined on the WCC All-Tournament Team by Kiara Kudron and Laura Stockton.

- Speaking of Mark Few, NBC Sports designated him as its National Coach of the Year, specifically citing the job he did turning a bunch of new faces into one of the nation’s best teams. Dick Vitale also mentioned during the broadcast of the WCC Final that Few is his Coach of the Year as well.
- Gary Parrish updated his latest Top-25 where he has Gonzaga at #3 and believes they should be a lock for a #1 seed no matter what happens in the Pac-12 tournament.
