Gonzaga Bulldogs junior guard Nigel Williams-Goss was named a finalist for the Bob Cousy Award on Monday. The Bob Cousy Award is given each year to the top point guard in college.
Williams-Goss was already named a finalist for the Naismith Trophy, the Oscar Robertson Award, and the Wooden Award. The transfer from University of Washington has been a revelation in his first season for the Zags, helping lead Gonzaga to a No. 1 ranking in the polls for the second time in school history.
Right now, Williams-Goss leads the Zags in scoring at 16.3 points per game and assists at 4.8 per game. He is also grabbing 5.6 rebounds per game and shooting 90.9 percent from the charity stripe.
