Still Reeling from the BYU Game? FIB is Here to Help!

After that performance, dear FIBbers, we needed a few days. Take some time to exhale, settle ourselves down, make sure we don’t overreact to one game. Such is the effect of a near-60-point victory.

What’s that, now? We played another game over the weekend? Hmm. Musta missed that one. Doesn’t ring a bell. Not at all. Not one measly, miserable, miserly, maleficent bit.

Sigh.

OK, well, guess there’s a giant elephant in the room and the Free Ira Brown crew is never one to butcher a metaphor. Or something. Anyway, in our latest episode, our heroes break down the loss (gag) to BYU (barf) from all angles. What went wrong (most everything) and might it happen again, the performance of Mika (Drago or Iceman? The debate may never end), the tactics of both teams (wherefore art thou, Huge Piece?), the announcers (vomits violently). We also look at what it means for us in a big picture sense, our seeding heading into the NCAA Tournament and whether the loss (gag) will help us moving forward.

Those stories, plus the GU women win the regular season title, there are some WCC awards to hand out, we take a look to the upcoming WCC Tournament and send some things your way we think you should know (Chris was a few deep at this point so if it doesn’t make sense, blame beer).
