2017 NCAA Tournament: Gonzaga vs. South Dakota State live open game thread

THE DAY OF RECKONING IS FINALLY HERE!

A few stats about the game:

• This is the second meeting between the two schools. South Dakota State on the previous meeting on Dec. 31, 1956, 88-78.
• This is the fourth trip in six years to the NCAA Tournament, but they are yet to win a game in that time span.
• Gonzaga is one of only two teams to win its first round game in the NCAA Tournament in each of the last eight season. Kansas is the other squad.
• This is the second time the Zags have been a No. 1 team, and it's the second time they've played their opening round as a No. 1 seed in Salt Lake City.
