The latest odds released by Bovada on Feb. 13 now have the Gonzaga Bulldogs the overall favorite to win the 2017 NCAA Championship, sitting at 8/1 odds.
Earlier in February, the Zags were the team with the second best chance, but as the winning continued, on the money end, it seems more and more likely that the Zags are the safest bet to make.
That of course isn’t the best bet to make. If you got in early and put some money down, you stand to make quite a bit back. The Gonzaga Bulldogs opened the season in some places at 75/1 odds to win the NCAA Championship. After the NCAA Selection Show Preview announced that Gonzaga is currently sitting as a No. 1 seed, the path became theoretically easier.
Of course, none of this actually matters until the bracket is revealed. But for now, it is fun knowing that the entire world is banking on the Zags to win.
