After going 1-2 in the Play4Kay shootout, the 2-3 Bulldogs look to get back to .500 in their first home game of the season. The opponents is an Eastern Washington team who has the same record as the Zags.

The Eagles are coming off of a 20 point win over Utah Valley, thanks in part to star player Delaney Hodgins, who had 24 points in the game. Symone Starks had 15 points and six assists in the game as well.

Eastern Washington has played tough opponents so far, including losing by four points at home to fellow WCC team BYU. Hodgins will be the player to look out for, as she averages 19.0 ppg to start the season out. What they do best is create easy offense by forcing turnovers. They're top 25 in the country with 19 forced turnovers a game.

For Gonzaga, the game play is simple. Feed the ball to Jill Barta, who leads the team in scoring at 19.6 ppg. Chandler Smith has emerged as the second primary scorer at 12.0 ppg. It's not yet clear if Laura Stockton, who missed the last two games of the tournament, will be available for tonight's game.

Eastern Washington will be looking to get their first win in this annual series since 2003. These teams have played each other each year since 1985, where Gonzaga has made this a one-sided rivalry, wining 31 of the 44 games played.

Let's hope that the streak of consecutive wins continue after this game. The game is tonight, at 9:00 p.m. ET, 6:00 p.m. PT. For those outside of Spokane, the game should be available on THEW.TV on the Stadium app.

Go zags!!
