NCAA Top 25 rankings: Gonzaga stays at No. 17

No movement for the Zags this week.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs remained the No. 17 team in the nation according to the latest AP top 25 poll.

There was a bit of minute movement at the top thanks to the powerhouse matchups between Duke/Michigan State and Kentucky/Kansas last week. The Blue Devils consolidated some of those first place votes, extending their lead over No. 2 Arizona. Kansas bounced up a spot after defeating Kentucky, and Michigan State dropped to No. 4 after their loss to Duke.

Both Gonzaga and Saint Mary’s remained at their respective rankings, No. 17 and No. 21. Also of interest for Gonzaga fans: the Florida Gators rose one spot to No. 7. Gonzaga potentially has a matchup against Florida at the PK80 Invitational on Friday, presuming both teams win their opening round games.

The holiday weekend is bound to provide a bit of a shakeup, like always, in the polls—Gonzaga heavily included. The Zags have the potential to play both Florida and Duke if the winning ways continue.

Here is the full AP top 25 poll.
