Gonzaga rises one spot in latest AP poll

The Zags sit at No. 17.

The Gonzaga Bulldogs moved up one spot in the latest AP poll and are now the No. 17 ranked team in the country.

Early polls rarely offer much in the realm of excitement, but a surprising loss by West Virginia to Texas A&M provided the room for movement. Texas A&M launched up to No. 16, and Louisville dropped a spot after a comfortable, but apparently not convincing enough, season-opening win.
