Lithuania picked up a huge win over Argentina on Thursday at the 2016 Rio Olympics, winning 81-73 and taking sole possession at the top of Group B.

Domantas Sabonis played 20 quality minutes, stuffing the statsheet but having one of his quieter games as well. Sabonis was limited a bit by foul trouble, but he still finished with seven points, six rebounds, two steals and two blocks.

Most importantly for Sabonis and company, the win over Argentina gives them precious possession of first place in their group. After the group stage is over, whichever team is in second place in Group B will face the U.S. (barring a horrendous collapse) on their way to the gold medal.

For Lithuania, staying at the top of the bracket means they can avoid that all the way until the final game. Lithuania still has a challenging test against Spain, so they aren’t in the clear yet, but they are well on their way.

Next up for Sabonis and company is a game against Spain, which begins at 3:00 pm PT, on Saturday, August 13.
