The college basketball season is still a few months away from starting, but there is a nicely friendly basketball tournament aptly named The Tournament that is here to fill our void. Luckily, for us Gonzaga fans, a team of mainly GU alums is still in the running.

A Few Good Men features Drew Barham, Ira Brown, Casey Calvary, Austin Daye, Dan Dickau, Micah Downs, Mike Hart, Jeremy Pargo, and Blake Stepp, as well as a couple of other non-GU alums. They are the No. 3 seed and will take the court on Friday.

The Tournament is only in its third year, but already it is making some legitimate waves, which bode well for it continuing in the future. This year, the winning team gets paid out $2 million, and this year, from the Super 16 on all games are broadcast on WatchESPN.

So here we go. The team may not have Zach Collins or Josh Perkins on it, but A Few Good Men features some of our favorite Zags from the past decade. They are taking on the lazily named TEAM UTAH, which features a bunch of players from Utah that I don’t really know because I don’t pay too much attention to Utah basketball.
