The Gonzaga Bulldogs baseball team will partake in the 2016 NCAA baseball tournament, earning their first ever at-large bid in school history.
The field for baseball is filled in much the same way that March Madness is--namely a group of people sit in a room for awhile and arbitrarily determine who was good and who was merely alright.
The Bulldogs had an overall record of 35-19 during the 2016 season, and 23 of those wins came on the road. The Zags earned a share of the WCC regular conference crown for the third time in school history.
Gonzaga will face off against No. 2 Arizona State. If they advance, they will face either TCU or Oral Roberts in the next round. The Zags went 1-2 against TCU this year earlier in March.
The Zags first game is on June 3 at 12:00 pm PT. You can view the entire bracket for the tournament here.
