Robert Morris transfer Rodney Pryor visiting Gonzaga in April

The 6'5 guard will be taking an official visit to Gonzaga in a few weeks.

Robert Morris University transfer Rodney Pryor has announced he will take an official visit to Gonzaga on April 21. The soon to be senior guard has also lined up visits with Georgetown and Florida.

Pryor is on track to graduate this summer, which means he will be immediately eligible next season. He also will be aiming for his sixth year of playing college ball. He dealt with two separate season-ending injuries in junior college.

He has been a big time scorer for the Coloniels in his two years there. Pryor averaged 15.6 points in 2014-15 and 18 points per game last season. Morris is an explosive scorer. He struggled with his outside shot quite a bit last season, hitting just 29 percent of his three pointers, but in 2014-15 he shot 42.9 percent from beyond the arc. Pryor would be an instant contributor on a team with more than its fair share of capable scorers.

Pryor's drew quite a bit of attention in his high school days at Notre Dame Prep. He had eligibility concerns over his high school grades, however, and he went the junior college route. Pryor tore his ACL in the 2013-14 season.

As it stands right now, the Zags don't have any open scholarship spots, but there is plenty of time between now and April 21 for that to change. Przemek Karnowski could announce he is leaving, Domantas Sabonis could announce he is heading to the draft, or Rui Hachimura could announce he is going to arrive in 2017-18 instead.
