For the eighth time, the Gonzaga Bulldogs and Arizona Wildcats will face off on the basketball court. Hopefully, for the first time in a long while, the Zags will emerge victorious.
Six of the seven past contests, it has been Arizona on top, including last year’s 68-63 win in Spokane. The Zags have a lot going for them, however. Parker Jackson-Cartwright, Arizona’s starting point guard, went down with a high ankle sprain and will be unavailable for the contest.
The Wildcats still boast a formidable lineup that, although maybe not a top 10 team anymore, is more than deserving of a top 25 ranking. Sean Miller is also a great coach, and this game will be in the neutral zone of Los Angeles at STAPLES Center. In short, today’s game can go to either squad.
